Our surf guide service in the north of Portugal takes you to the best waves of the day within a 50 kilometre radius of the guesthouse. With over 30 years' knowledge of the coast, we know exactly where to go in every sea, wind and tide condition.
Some of the spots we visit are unique and unknown - the so-called secret surf spots in Portugal. To keep them that way, no phones are allowed. If you're looking for the best waves in the north of Portugal away from the crowds, this is the ideal service.

What does the surf guide service include?
Transport to the best spot of the day, local knowledge of conditions, explanation of how the spot works and accompaniment during the session.
Do I need to be very experienced?
We recommend an intermediate to advanced level. You should be able to paddle, catch waves and know the basic rules of safety and prioritisation.
Why can't I take a phone?
Some of the spots we visit are unknown and we want to keep them that way. It's a question of respecting nature and the locals.
Is the equipment included?
No. If you need to hire a board and wetsuit, you get 20% off the rental price.
How many people can go per session?
Maximum 6 people per session.
Can I do Surf Guide without staying?
Yes, the service is available to guests and non-guests.
Is there a discount for several sessions?
Yes. 3 to 4 sessions: 5% discount. 5 or more sessions: 10% discount.
