Surf equipment in northern Portugal
If you already know how to surf and are looking for autonomy, we have surf equipment hire on the north coast of Portugal. Our equipment is available just a few metres from the beach, with a variety of boards adapted to different levels and sea conditions.
Before you hire, we'll assess your level and advise you on the best board and wetsuit for the day. You can hire surf equipment near Porto without having to take lessons - all you need is previous experience and respect for the sea conditions.
Our Equipment
Boards: softboard, hardboard, longboard, malibu, mid-length, fish, shortboard and grom board. Suits: all sizes (child to XXL), thickness 5/4 mm.

Hours: 7am to 8pm
Guests with a Surf Guide or Surf Training have 20% off the rental price.

Can I rent a surfboard without taking lessons?
Yes, as long as you have previous experience. We assess your level before you rent and advise you on the most suitable equipment.

What size suits do they have?
All sizes, from child to XXL. Thickness 5/4 mm, suitable for the water of northern Portugal all year round.

From 7:00 to 20:00.
Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes. Security deposit of €150 or identification document.
Do guests get a discount on rent?
Surf Guide and Surf Training customers get a 20% discount on equipment hire.
