Step by Step Atlantic is a small, quiet guesthouse in Vila do Conde, located on the north coast of Portugal, in Árvore.
We're not a hotel or a hostel. We're a place designed for those looking for peace and quiet - whether it's after a day walking the Camino de Santiago, a morning by the sea, or simply a few days away from the noise.

Is it possible to check in late?
Yes. Check-in is possible outside normal hours (15:00-20:00) subject to prior booking.
Do they have bedrooms?
No. We only offer private single or double rooms.
We also offer extra beds if there are more than two people
Do you accept children?
Yes, from the age of 10.
Do you accept animals?
No, we don't accept pets at the moment.
Where can I park?
Right in front of the guesthouse, free of charge.
Do you have a shared kitchen?
We don't have a shared kitchen, but guests have access to a microwave, plates, glasses and cutlery.
How far is the beach?
About 50 metres. You'll hear the waves from the bedroom.
How far is Porto?
30 minutes by car or 18 minutes from the airport. The metro link is a 22-minute walk away.
